This is the MEGA RARE, OUT OF PRINT vinyl copy of Ben Harper's 'Burn To Shine' LP. As with all of the 90s Ben Harper LPs, this is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Featuring the single 'Burn To Shine' this is a really lusciously pressed double LP... thick double gatefold sleeve, heavy slabs of wax, and gorgeous printing through-out.
As with all my listings, this will start LOW and have NO reserve!
CONDITION OF VINYL: NEAR MINT. There are NO signs that these sides have been touched with a stylus. The grooves are all shiny and undisturbed by paper scuffs or needlewear: slipping the discs out of the inner bags is very smooth and the shine from the vinyl definitely gives these discs a 'Just Opened' feel. The sides are pretty much PERFECT, and thus I am confident in my NEAR MINT grading... please see below for my specifications on this matter. The labels are beautifully printed and preserved: there are but two spindlemarks in total, and of course these are only visible at an angle. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: VERY GOOD ++The cover is great shape. The spine is beautifully stiff and legible, and all the edges are perfect. There IS a blemish at the bottom of the sleeve, at the gatefold. This takes the form of creasing and is most visible on the rear, at the bottom. You may notice it on the inner gatefold, but it's not as extreme here. I like to give a solid, thorough description of any blemishes there may be: I always feel standard gradings are not enough... you need detail! Aside from the creasing mentioned, the artwork and face-on panels are all lovely and bright. So much nicer than a tiny CD!!
I am an avid collector of many, many genres and keep my records in IMMACULATE condition. I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide 'Ready Reckoner' and almost NEVER sell anything which is below EXCELLENT condition. Rest assured that my EXCELLENT is bloody EXCELLENT! Oh yeah and I NEVER GRADE ANYTHING MINT THAT IS NOT SEALED!! Near Mint is the highest grading I use for unsealed records.
All records will be sent within two days MAXIMUM of receipt of payment (usually within 4/5 hours of payment received). Your record will be expertly packed in a professional brown mailer, using one or two stiffeners and housed in a PVC 12" sleeve with the record in a paper inner placed outside the sleeve as is standard practice. I've always been lucky when buying records from ebay (save the odd occasion) and would like all buyers of my records to be 100% SATISFIED!
