Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by Bennie Green called "Bennie Green Blows His Horn." Prestige Records. PRLP 7052. 1956.RARE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
YELLOW LABELS WITH "446 W. 50th ST., N.Y.C." ADDRESS ON BOTH!
Both sides' Trail-Off's have the etched "RVG".
BACK OF COVER HAS "446 West 50th Street, New York 19, N.Y." ADDRESS, BOTTOM-RIGHT.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG condition. Front has some minor wear and small tear at the top. Back of cover has some browning around the edges. Top of cover has a 2 1/16" split. Bottom of cover has a 1 3/8" split. Still strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG to VG+. Looks really nice with some visual superficial marks that do not affect play. Some surface noise between and during tracks. Record still sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Bennie Green of Charlie Rouse fan!
