Description
Benny Carter "Cosmopolite" extended play 45 rpm record and cardboard cover (Clef 187; mono). This rare 1953 record by the late jazz legend is an original pressing that plays in VG+ to VG++ condition. There is light surface noise but the music dominates. The songs are "I've Got the World on a String," "Gone With the Wind," "Long Ago and Far Away" and "I've Got it Bad and That Ain't Good." Players on the record include Buddy Rich on drums, Oscar Peterson on piano and Ray Brown on bass. The maroon labels are clean, with no writing, stickers or tears. The cardboard cover, which has clear-taped top and bottom seams and light wear, is otherwise clean. Winner pays $4 for 1st Class Mail or $8 for Priority postage in the U.S. Postage is $10 to Canada for up to three (3) 45s or $13 for up to six (6) 45s. Postage is $15 for up to three (3) 45s or $18 for up to six (6) 45s sent to any the location outside the U.S. Double record sets count as two, triple sets count as three, etc. PLEASE NOTE: The U.S. Post Office on Jan. 27, 2013, more than doubled the cost of mailing one 45 out of the country, so my current international shipping rates reflect that big increase. I will make no profit from these higher mailing costs. Multiple purchases shipped simultaneously result in big postage savings. Please visit my ebay store (Bud's Music) to check out hundreds more jazz and other 45s, LPs and CDs.
