Record is Deep-Groove, and has RVG in dead wax. The vinyl condition is VG+ or better, it has been machine-cleaned and played. Sounds great. The sleeve is VG+ or better. It has a split in the top spine about 1/2 the length. Has "Promo" stamp on reverse. The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics. A rare record, in great condition. No reserve, starts at $75.
I was left over 5000 old jazz albums from a friend who passed away. They are not catalogued nor are they even organized. I'll be going through them a little bit at a time and putting them up for auction. I have one of those cleaning machines and I listen to at least part of every cleaned record. Everything I've listened to "sounds great", and I do mean "great". No pops, hisses, skips, etc. Great sound. Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale. As for grading, I've reviewed generally accepted guidelines, and I think my grades on the sleeves and the vinyl are reasonable. Most everything I've looked at so far is "VG+" or better. Unless I see something that "wows" me, "VG+" will be my top rating. If there are any notable flaws that make a record less than VG+, I will point that out. If I come across any "pops" or "skips" on a record that is otherwise desirable, I'll point that out. If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I don't know much about records but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
