Description
Up for auction is a super clean copy of the Benny Golson album "Reunion" released on Jazzland Records (AM 85) in 1962. Features other jazz greats J.J. Johnson, Wynton Kelly, and Max Roach. Fantastic session. This copy is an original, mono deep groove first pressing. Still in opened factory shrink wrap. This album is in beautiful condition. Cover has been protected well for the last 50 years in the shrink wrap with very few signs of wear. Lower right corner near opening is slightly bumped. Back cover looks great with only some very light age spotting in upper left. Price tag in upper right is affixed to the shrink wrap, not to the cover itself. No seam splits, no writing, no chipping. I would grade this cover Near Mint Minus (NM-). The vinyl is equally nice. Retains its original high gloss shine. Has only a couple very light marks that are hard to see and do not affect play back. No marks around spindle holes. Looks like this copy has been played maybe once before. Looks very clean and shiny all around. I would grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-). It's becoming increasingly hard to find original mono copies of this album in such beautiful shape.
