78 RPM RECORD IN ONE PIECE.
PACKING & SHIPPING 78s All 78 rpm records are shipped in the following manner. #1 Placed in a heavy sleeve and then a plastic cover. #2 The sleeved and plastic covered record is taped to a 12" cardboard and then sandwiched with another 12" cardboard, taped together and placed in a new 12" x 12" x 4" or a 14" x 14" x 6" box with shock absorbing material top and bottom. I have used this method extensively (over 500 mailings) with great results. I will insure any package over $50.00 at my expense.
note: 78 record sets are shipped in their album folders wrapped in plastic and sandwiched in heavy cardboard and placed in a new 200 lb. test box with shock absorbing material top and bottom.
