Description
BENNY GOODMAN “RCA Victor Years” BOX SET Bluebird 5704-1-RB 16 LPs Remaster Mono!
If you want it all, here it is beautifully remastered but remaining Mono. 16 LPs! The vinyls look unplayed, NM. The box has a little shelf wear, but is intact with no cuts or major marks. Silver embossed portrait on the cover. The white textured box shows some yellowing with age (38 years old) especially on the exposed spine edge. The glossy white inner sleeves are all intact with no seam splits. There is a pristine 20 page booklet with liner notes by the great jazz chroniclers.
Benny Goodman helped move big band jazz to evolve into post war bop. His talent and importance is monumental. Here are the complete sides with RCA at the start of his career. For the Jazz aficionado, this reference is indispensable. This package might be opened, but it was hardly used, and in this condition a bargain.
Photos are of actual copy for sale.
