Description
Berliner 78 :- La Garde Republicaine ... La Paloma
Original Berliner 78 issued in the 1890's the date number 3 0 0 8 9 is stamped on, last number presumably a 9 or 8 is not legible or just missing. Listen to the first half of the actual disc here, sound file to follow soon.
Condition :-
VG plays through very well
(With a suitable size envelope that it came in but no idea if it's a true authentic match for the item)
Records cleaned and graded as follows:-
EX (A well cared for record, maybe a couple of surface marks, played up to 10 times, no noticeable wear.)
VG (More surface marks and some light scratches, some audible wear, played maybe up to 50 times, no deep scratches.)
G (Surface, scuff marks and deeper scratches that click, well played with audible wear, still plays without mistracking.)
"I try to grade my records with great care, I also collect 78s so understand the importance of accuracy. Record tested on a "single play" dynatron record player with a 78 rpm stylus."

Records are packed methodically and marked "fragile" to avoid damage in transit. N.B. Where possible I often use a box from an LP box set, record(s) will be packed inside in such a way as to avoid problems from being crushed or dropped.
Any overcharges on postage will be refunded, a certificate of posting will be obtained, prices above £35 will require extra insurance.

There is a number near the central hole, not all legible but for the numbers 228, there is also a name of a band but I can't read it, it's something like ... Mar -------- rey (or ney) Band. Band is the only word that's obvious.
