Description
78 RPM 7" single sided shellac disc by E. BERLINER GRAMOPHONE
"Danse des Bacchantes " Gounod played by
MUNICIPAL MILITARY BAND London
grooved side has small "Recording Angel" & is stamped 157
additional hand etched numbering is as follows:
just to left of the center hole: 18 - 3 -01
just to the right of the center hole 425 ( or, perhaps, 2425, not sure)
B side is blank except for stamped "REPRODUCED IN HANOVER"
CONDITION:
substantial wear,rubs, numerous marks,scratches & needle drop marks
( + a few primitive pressing imperfections/tiny dimples)
B side has marks scratches & small scuffs
plays with subantial competitive surface noise/ surface crackle
but no skips or jumps
(sorry, no paper sleeve)
