Original French pressing on TELE MUSIC label (TM 3033) from 1973. Unusual pop electronique and motorik funk masterpiece, with maverick arrangements and spaced-out production... quintessentially Estardy sounding with lots of studio dub FX and creative choice of instrumentation ;) An elegantly stoned mix of experimental lounge and psychedelia with a cosmic Mediterranean / Asian and futuristic mood. Our soundclip opens with the motorik rhythms and percussive funk of NIGHT EXPRESS followed by the fragmented beats and hypnotic horror film style "music box" ambience of TIC TAC NOCTURNE then the rest of the entire session. Fabulous music for fashion shows and club DJs. The Indo Arabian tinged ANGOISSE AU COEUR / art installation-esque FATALITAS / ASIATIC DREAM (with yet more music-box style sounds) and strings with Erik Satie style piano of COEUR POLAIRE are all cinematic and beautiful. RALLYE DU DIABLE is the funky dub version of NIGHT EXPRESS (with flute and trippier synth pads) / RIVIERA EXPRESS is the infectious funk theme from his La Formule Du Baron grail and PUSSY CACATOES is probably the most bizarre and progressive with phased drums / phased bass and underground psych rock atmosphere. Killer item. For sure, one of the most visionary and surprisingly contemporary releases on this cult French label. Rare Library Lp!!! Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some hairlines / faint scuffs. Light surface noises. A few soft pops / soft ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). The half laminated sleeve (with Radiophonic Workshop style design) is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with light wear. A touch of edge wear in places (to top card edge of back seam) and a touch of corner wear, in places. Some ring wear and ring dirt marks from storage. Mini 'x' notation to top right corner of back sleeve. Sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!!
