On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Bert Jansch called 'It Dont Bother Me' and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Transatlantic label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF BERT JANSCH'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! AND THIS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! INCREDIBLY, THIS LP HAS A FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (DROPPED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE AND CHANGED TO A NON-FLIPBACK COVER INSTEAD!), A/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 'FULLY TEXTURED' LABELS (LATER ONES WERE SMOOTH!), AND THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TRANSATLANTIC 'LONG GLOBE' LABEL LOGO - WHICH WAS CHANGED ONLY WEEKS AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL (WITH A BRILLIANT COVER!) - AND ALTHOUGH THERE ARE A FEW DETAILS TO NOTE (SEE BELOW), THIS IS STILL A VERY PRESENTABLE EXAMPLE INDEED, THAT PLAYS WELL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'FULLY TEXTURED' TRANSATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS A/B MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Transatlantic UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TRA 132 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Transatlantic (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and a few spindle marks!!!! However, although this LP has clearly been played a few times by its previous owner, it was clearly on a decent system (as the sound quality is still VERY nice indeed!), and the spindle marks barely extend past the central boss - clearly showing careful play!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and still VERY bright & shiny looking indeed!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 small lateral hairline type marks, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, only a few VERY light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK!!!! It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY (if not BETTER!) as the visual!!!! The record plays with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must MEGA STRICTLY grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though most I am certain would grade higher here, as the record is still VERY bright & shiny looking, and plays WELL!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press FLIPBACK Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The cover has NO splits, NO edge wear (apart from a TINY 'touched in' trace on the bottom edge!), NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corner tips, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, SUPERB flipbacks, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

PLEASE NOTE! It has come to my attention that a tiny amount of copies of this LP were made with ‘Long Globe’ labels. However, these were not any earlier that the ‘Square’ Globe labels – and simply old left over labels that were used up at any time in the pressing run. Of course, they were almost certainly found and used up in the first year of release, and appear randomly on other Transatlantic LPs from this period too. However, the PROOF that they were definitely NOT any earlier, is very obvious when you look at the cover. The cover for this LP was ONLY ever designed with the ‘Square Globe’ labels by Transatlantic – and clearly these were the labels they were intending to use with ALL 1st Press copies! So be assured that although the ‘Long Globe’ labels are extremely rare (there is no doubting in fact, that they are the rarest!), they were HIGHLY unlikely to be the ‘earliest’ that were used (and were probably just an isolated find later on and used up as found), as the cover for this LP had the ‘Square Globe’ logo on it from the ‘day of release’ and NO other types exist! Still I thought it best to be clear on this point, and relate this detail after being alerted to it.
