A very rare LP.  Here's a FIRST UK PRESSING of the great BRITT FOLK GUITAR GOD, BERT JANSCH'S LP ROSEMARY LANE.  This pressed in 1971 on the TRANSATLANTIC LABEL.  Has a textured cover, and MCPS is the rights society.  JANSCH was a unique and great guitarist who influenced so many greats.  The 2 that come to mind are JIMMY PAGE, who stole JANSCH'S BLACK WATERSIDE, and renamed it BLACK WATERSIDE. JANSCH never sued PAGE, but everyone knows what a blatant theft that was.  His other huge fan is NEIL YOUNG, who goes out of his way, still to talk about the great BERT JANSCH.  This is a great LP, and with the beautiful audio quality of the UK pressing.  The LP comes with it's original white inner that has the MADE IN ENGLAND and PATENT# printed.  The VINYL is NEAR MINT, and the labels are perfect with no marks.  The COVER shows a little toning, and a little ring wear.  Spine and seams are in great shape, and the tiniest of corner din gs on top right and bottom left.

 SS    = (STILL SEALED) The record itself is in brand new condition, assumed never to have been played.M      = (MINT)  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.M -    = (MINT MINUS)  MINT- is not MINT but is very close to it, near new, there might be a blemish or two, but overall record and jacket are like new or very close to new.EX     = (EXCELLENT)  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VG    = (VERY GOOD)  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and theoccasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.G      = (GOOD)  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.F       = (FAIR)  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
