This auction is for a Best Coast and Wavves split 7" that they made for a tour on insanely rare clear gold vinyl. Mine is a transition copy, too, with streaks of black in it. Some collectors are into that sort of thing. I forget the story, but I guess this tour record was initially going to be pressed on colored vinyl. When they changed their mind, they still had to run the color that was already in the machine until it got to black. The little amount (30 or 50 copies?) was sent to the label, and they gave them out and sold the rest in their store in NYC. Only a handful of people ever got one of these, so don't expect another to show up anytime soon.
