In this offering we have the three (3) label variations of the QuadraDisc (CD-4 Channel Discrete) version of THE BEST OF THE DOORS performed by Jim Morrison (vocals), Robbie Krieger (guitar), John Densmore (drums) and Ray Manzarek (piano, organ, bass, keyboards, marimba). These are original pressings, LP's on Elektra Records (EQ-5035), released in 1973, fully compatible with stereo systems -- the rear channel information sounds in the front speakers when playback is stereo creating an amazing multi-dimensional effect unlike anything spewing from today's digital formats. Jackets range from VG+ to NEAR MINT, the LP's from NEAR MINT to MINT. Original inner sleeves are included and all three are in very good condition. An exciting package for the Doors' fanatic as well as the Quad collector. And of course they're a must for the serious student of 1960's and 1970's rock.
