"Trouble With My Lover" is one of my all-time fave New Orleans tunes! It's a pounding, pulsating, gritty uptempo northern soul dancer with a slight funk edge. Have a listen below! "Ride Your Pony" is Betty's take on the Lee Dorsey classic, it's hard to beat the original but she comes pretty damn close. Almost every release on the Allen Toussaint owned Sansu label is of astounding quality and this double-sider is no exception. NOTE that this is pressed on VINYL, not styrene like many of the Sansu 45s are. In amazing M- condition!
