Very nicely presented original pressing of Betty Padgett's obscure but highly sought-after self-titled LP, released in the mid-to-late '70s on the Taretone label, through Tabansi Records. A killer slice of Miami soul, funk, boogie and reggae fusion. The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some very light superficial surface marks and a couple of fine, very light hairlines - nothing significant - see descriptions below and check-out the soundclip. Nice D-E-E-P grooves - both sides play beautifully.
A-side: There is only the very tiniest hint of any background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with some tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks plus just a few slightly more prominent ones. Labels: There is a name and tick written in blue biro on the A-side label (see scan), while the B-side label is pristine.
Sleeve: There is some light wear to the edges, some bumping to the corners, some creasing and light fraying to the opening edge, and various marks (four ticks, a circle and "good") against five of the tracks on the back cover.
