Decca DFE6446. 'The Betty Smith Quintet'. Tri-centre early issue. 1957.

Betty Smith(vocals and tenor saxophone) with various others including Terry Walsh, Barry Phillips, Roy dempsy(guitars), Brian Lemon(piano),Jack Peberdy(bass), Stan Bourke(drums).

Tracks are There's a Blue ridge around my heart Virginia, Who's sorry now, Everything is peaches down in Georgia, Because my baby don't mean maybe now.

Very good condition for its age. Nice clean record with just a couple of light hairline scratches but it plays well with very little surface noise and just a few tics. Sleeve also very good-the usual mark at label rim to front and back.and slight folding back at opening with a some loss of laminate.
