Beverely Kenney Sings
For Johnny Smith
Original mono pressing on Roost from 1955, #RLP 2206.
Both labels have come unglued from the record (see pics)
The vinyl has some very light scuffing but it plays superbly with very little noticeable surface noise at all,
VG+ but sounds excellent.
The cover is VG, noticeable ring wear on the back cover which is also yellowed with age
and has some writing and an old scotch tape stain, the top seam is split halfway, light wear at the corners.

whose sophisticated phrasing perfectly complemented the cool jazz sensibilities of the late '50s,
she committed suicide at the peak of her career and awaits rediscovery by the vast majority of the listening public."
