IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT ONE TRACK ENTITLED "BALL AND CHAIN" (THE FINAL TRACK ON SIDE ONE) HAS A REPEATING LOOP ABOUT HALF WAY THROUGH THE 3:00 MINUTES allocated to the track. This continual repeat prevents this otherwise very nice vinyl from being rated as VG+. There is just a few visual signs of light scratches on the entire vinyl and there is some minimal surface noise that may be expected on a 57+ year old vinyl which is very shiney. The blue and silver labels are both very nice but have loosened from the vinyl itself and should be re-cemented (the side two loosened off the vinyl and a little glue was added to keep it in place.)
The jacket is very nice indeed and has no seam splits fully legible printing on side seam), no added writings or other problems however lower corners slightly soft. The front cover art is splendid with a head shot of Beverly by Herman Leonard one of the greatest Jazz Photographers of all time. This cover is a great candidate for framing for those so inclined and has a barely noticable wrinkle about an inch long to the left and over the artist's head. The back of the cover featuring extenvie liner notes by Barr Ulanov is very clean with no added writings and prefectly legible with only some minimal fading noted. The jacket is rated a strong VG++. A new black generic inner sleeve and a new re-sealable clear poly outer sleeve is included to keep this rarity in tis present condition for genrations to come. All records are removed from outer jacket for shipping, bubble wrapped and shipped in heavy duty record mailer box.
Refund policy applies however NO REFUND to be made if primary reason is for the condition issue as noted in paragraph two above. U.S. Buyers may use choose USPS Media Mail of USPS Priority Mail.
