Up for bids is a very rare, mono Jazz Vocal LP by Beverly Kenney called "Sings For Johnny Smith". Royal Roost Records. RLP 2206. 1955.ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Comes with [possibly] original plastic inner sleeve in VG+ condition (record will be shipped outside cover in separate poly-lined sleeve).
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG condition. Front has some wear. Back of cover has some wear and staining. Some artwork is missing from top and bottom causing some splitting, but no corners or centers are split. Spine has some wear from top to center (see photo). Still a really nice looking example of this cover.
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG to VG+. Looks gorgeous with a couple of minor marks that don't greatly affect play. Some minor surface noise between and during tracks. Minor distortion at times. Overall, record still sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Beverly Kenney fan!
