Offered on this auction is this Extremely Rare South African ONLY LP pressing of "THE BIG BEAT OF THE BEATLES".

This record was pressed on the Silver on Black Parlophone Label, and was released only in South Africa, and there were only VERY FEW pressed.

These PMCJ 64 pressings are rarely offered for sale, and almost never fetch anything less than $500.

SURFACES COND: EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT
LABEL COND: EXCELLENT; there are only very minor spindle insertion marks (see photos).
COVER COND: VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT; there are a few slight creases, minor seam splits, and minimal signs of storage (see photos).

MATRIX No's: XPEAX 167 and on Side 2: XPEAX 168.

CONDITION GRADING TABLE

NEAR MINT (NM): - A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. Sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost
invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling.
EXCELLENT To VERY GOOD PLUS (EX to VG+): - Records in this category will show some signs that it was played but handled carefully by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches. Sleeves will have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely
noticeable.
VERY GOOD (VG): - Very Good condition records will have slightly more pronounced defects than VG+ including surface noise, groove wear and light scratches that may affect the sound.
Sleeve and/or label will be marred by writing or have tape or stickers, although not ALL of these faults may be evident at the same time.
GOOD To FAIR PLUS (G to F+): - A record in this category can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. Sleeve can have seam splits and appear stained or grubby.
