Description
This is the infamous "Body Bag" version of the 1987 Headache release, the body bag material was cut on the top to remove the contents. The unique cover is autographed by Steve Albini + Dave Riley (front) and Santiago Durango (back). Had to hide most of the cover but you can see the signatures. If you don't know what this cover looks like you can see it on Discogs. It came with a maroon-colored vinyl 12" EP and a 45. Unfortunately, someone stole the actual 12" record while I was getting these autographs on the cover after the show. It was a completely insane scene as the band handed out fireworks to everybody when they were leaving Cafe Voltaire on that 4th of July in 1987 (the name of the club was changed to the Odd Rock Cafe sometime that year). These weren't sparklers and cheap firecrackers either, they were roman candles, rolls of Black Cats and large rockets! It was like "Apocalypse Now" outside of the venue that night! Remarkably, no one got hurt and nothing caught fire. Anyway, everything is in EX to NM condition, just light wear (no ringwear or edgewear) and one minor corner bend to the cover (EX condition), the pic sleeved 45, two large (never displayed) 35" x 23" posters and the 10 page booklet insert are all in great shape. The body bag outer cover has the silver sticker which denotes this as a US version, the gold sticker ones were sent out as import versions. Will be shipped via Priority Mail in the US.
