Description

Original 1959 Canada press of LP on Mercury label  ~ 1st press black label
THE BIG BOPPER titled "Chantilly Lace"
CONDITION:
laminated cover: VG++ to Excellent 
very lite shelf wear/soiling ~very tiny fray to a couple of the corners ~ top seam split at opening (3")
( small aged cello tape there,too) ~ tiny microscopic fray to part of the opening edge
vinyl: VG++ to  Excellent
clean  & glossy ~ several lite hairlines & needlemarks ~ 1 lite scratch over opening 3 tracks on Side 1
superficial only ~1 tiny scratch on 1 track on S2 is a bit deeper ~ barely ~ makes 1 lite click ~ remainder
plays excellent with just an odd lite tick & some occasional very faint surface noise in a few spots ~
all low level ~ does not compete at all ~ noticeable litely on intro, between some tracks & faintly
during several quieter moments of play
