On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Big Brother & The Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) called "Cheap Thrills" and is a MEGA rare UK 1968 MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' CBS label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  WHILST STEREO PRESSINGS TURN UP OCCASSIONALLY - MONO 1ST PRESSINGS VIRTUALLY NEVER TURN UP FOR SALE AND ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH A SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' CBS LABELS, 1ST PRESS CBS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' PATENT PENDING COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is CBS BPG 63392 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'textured' CBS label (see picture) and is a 1968 MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and is in GREAT overall condition!!!!  However although this record has clearly not been played much AT ALL, and actually looks SUPERB and VERY fresh looking under normal light - under bright light there are a few small hairlines, 2 visual (but NON sounding) scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with only a few clicks/pops in places, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle (apart from a slight touch on one run on groove), and only some slight low level background sound on the run on grooves, and gaps - NOT in the music!!!!  There is NO groovewear and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade Very Good(Minus)!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO yellowing, NO grubbyness and NO rubbing AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE MONO, AND SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
