Description
A couple of years ago, one of Australia's most respected and most eloquent music writers passed away - he was active all throughout the 80's and 90's, and to a lesser extent, right up until recently. His credibility was perhaps best illustrated by the high reverence in which he was held by his journalistic peers, and especially by the absolute cream of Australia's musicians - members of Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Radio Birdman, Sports, Angels, and many many others counted him as an ally (itself rare in the too often isolationist world he inhabited)...and he had a flurry of loyal readers too...all of whom, it's my guess, would have felt a loop of sadness at the thought his indepth and articulate, impassioned appraisals would no longer be forthcoming.
Just recently I was offered to buy his record collection, which I did, feeling pretty honoured to do so...and here then, is one of the items from that collection:

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Not 100% certain...the record is original, with black and silver labels, and 'scroll' logo...the cover is NON-flipback, and I believe it may originally have had a flipback cover (not that I've ever seen one)...it was this year that EMI's flipback covers were discontinued here...
CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG++ )...has some mild ringwear on the front, and more pronounced ringwear on the back (see pix), and some foxing (light brown 'age-ing' dots) on the back too...spine is very clear and sharp...beautiful!...
RECORD: ( M- )...has ALL of its original shine still...looks stunning...you'd be lucky to ever find a better copy!!...
LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...has only one light spindle mark on the labels (on one side only)...looks like it's barely ever been played...
