Description
Im down sizing my recored collection over the next week or so and these records are all from my personnal record collection.
For auction here is the very rare and sought after vinyl record version of Big Country's live album, Without The Aid Of A Safety Net, recorded at Barrowlands, Glasgow on the 29th December 1993. There are 10 tracks from throughout the bands career starting with Harvest Home then Just A Shadow, 13 Valleys, The Storm and Chance, all played acoustically. Then the full on electric set starting with Look Away, then Steeltown, Ships, Wonderland and finally a storming In A Big Country. This is an extremely rare record, ive only ever seen one other in the flesh, and when i recently searched on here for another example, there was not a single one ! Bad points are- The B side is very slightly warped but this does NOT effect the playback. Its minimal as i said but im just being honest. There is some crackling on the run ins and the run outs but not during the music. There is a small skip during Harvest Home but other than that it plays very well.
Good points- The cover is excellent/mint having been in the original HMV plastic cover since i bought it in Oxford Street in 1994.You can clearly see the HMV £8:99 sticker in the top right hand corner in the picture. The white inner sleeve is crisp and crease free and comes from a pet and smoke free home.
I have just given this a spin through on my turn table and it really is a classic rocking live album.
Please look at my other items for sale over the next few days for similar vinyl.
Im no expert, but if you have any questions by all means message me.
I will post worldwide at cost.
Good luck and thanks for looking.
