BIG STAR #1 RECORD, VINYL LP, ARDENT ADS-2803 RARE, PROMO COPY, 1972 ORIGINAL. This record is quite a find and similar copies have sold for up to $350! It is a rare promo copy from 1972 of Big Star's #1 Record. There is a hole punch on the back of the album, along with some signs of wear as you can see in my photos. The vinyl, however, is in excellent condition! I am no expert, but would visually grade it at least a VG+. The record is clean, glossy, and plays well. I just listened to it all the way through and it sounds perfect! There are a few very light marks, but nothing I can feel with my finger. Notice in my photos there is a small, raised area on the label of side two. I tried to photograph the matrix/run out information, but it is very hard to see. To the best of my ability, here is that information. Side one: STXS-0178-1, AS-0401, ADS-2803, 17069(1), steamroller creation. Side two: STXS-0261-2, AS-0406-RR-Re-2, LN1X, 17213, and it appears to be the initials JLA above that last set of numbers. There are other little squiggles and marks that I can't distinguish.
