Description
3rd and final LP by BIG STAR originally issued in 1978 on PVC (PVC 7903). I obtained this record when it came out and it is a perfect condition promotional copy. Big Star 3rd was recorded in 1975 after RADIO CITY but allegedly no label would take it, so PVC picked it up and released it 3 years later as this record. Much moodier than the other 2 Big Star LPs, though still great; all songs by Alex Chilton with many moments of brilliance ("Jesus"). Cover is EX/NM--has a small, sloppily drilled punch hole on cover; has the original inner sleeve with copious liner notes. Record has white PVC label, disc is shiny, perfect.
