By far one of the most exciting Record Store Day reissues was this is unprecedented release of the troubled 'Third' album by Big Star. Remastered and pressed on 180 gram vinyl, this is a replica of the test pressings which circulated after the album's recording. 5 of the 2000 boxes released contain ACTUAL test pressings of the record from the time, signed by Jody Stephens and original mastering engineers Larry Nix and Ardent’s John Fry. This is a superb package with cool replicas of the tracking sheets and other paraphenalia
