Omnivore/Ace Records catalog number OVLP-1, a sweet Record Store Day special from 2011 and the most elaborate of the bunch, a boxed edition of 2000 copies, Big Star's immortal Third. You know the drill: pressed on the same lathe the original was, replicas of lead sheets, tracking sheets and mastering card all boxed up in a replica of the original master tape box. Final bonus for the luckiest Big Star fan ever: five original test pressings of Third were salted into the edition of 2000. Think four have been documented; could this be the last one? 180-gram vinyl. Sealed, mint, getting rare.
