Description

BIG "T" TYLER  King Kong/Sadie Green (UK Vogue 45/V 9079) Recorded and released in 1957...originally on Aladdin Records in the US
Not a lot is known about Mr. Tyler. This appears to be his only release. But what a release!!! A stonking double-sider that deserves its now cult status. An all-star cast behind the big man's vocals...Rene Hall (guitar), Earl Palmer (drums), Plas Johnson (tenor sax) and Ray Johnson (piano).
According to the Record Collector Price Guide (2014) this single was valued at £200 in Mint condition. I don't know if that value has changed in the last 8 years. 
Condition: The record plays well...it's loudness drowning out background surface noise!! Almost VG on sound. No clicks or jumps.  The labels have some stains but everything is totally readable (see pics). Fair-Good on appearance, No original centre or sleeve. Now housed in a new white card sleeve.
