Description

This is an extremely rare avant garde psych/sound poetry LP entitled "Awake in the Red Desert" by Bill Bissett and the Mandan Massacre....only 500 copies were made on the private See/Hear label in the late 60s in Vancouver, BC Canada and it seldom turns up for sale. What makes this copy even more special, besides the top condition, is the inclusion of the even rarer accompanying book of the same name which includes many typewriter poems, poetry, pictures, drawings, and texts. I've never seen this rare LP offered with the book before...a chance of a lifetime! Cover is in NM condition with just some very slight browning around the edges due to its age and white cover. Vinyl is NM and plays great. A holy grail of west coast experimental psych!

Includes one insert -a typewriter poem by Bissett.
