Description
This is a Bill Champlin (before he joined Chicago) solo LP titled “Single”, a first pressing released in 1978 on Full Moon/Epic Records catalog number JE 35367 stereo. Both the record and jacket are stamped as a promotional copy, a very rare record.
This LP features an all-star lineup of backing musicians including Steve Lukather, David Paich and Jeff Porcaro of Toto along with Ray Parker, Jr., Paulinho Da Costa, David Foster, Michael McDonald, Daryl Hall and others.
All records that I have for sale are from my personal collection and were played exclusively on a high end turntable. This record was play tested to guarantee an accurate description.
This record looks and plays like a brand new record with only typical stylus on vinyl sounds and occasional very light clicks. This is a great sounding record. The labels are in like new condition.
The outer jacket has some barely visible minor ring wear on both sides and some corner and edge wear but all seams are solid. The original printed inner sleeve with lyrics and album info is in excellent condition with one small (1”) seam split on one edge.
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
