Description
The Bill Evans Trio "Everybody Digs Bill Evans" LP original 1958 Riverside RLP12-291 mono. This record has the deep groove navy blue labels with "Bill Grauer Productions" at the bottom.
The jacket is conservatively rated "EX+" condition with no seam splits or edgewear; it is the earliest vintage jacket without a stereo record number on the opposite side of the jacket (see photos).
The vinyl is in "NM" condition and has never been played however there is a "ghosting" or "clouding" in the vinyl; because of this I test played it and there is nothing more than the faint surface noise typical of a record from this time period (see photos).
Grading is based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
