BILL EVANS TRIO SUNDAY AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD

This is the French Original press of ’Sunday at the Village Vanguard' by the Bill Evans Trio. This rare press has the earliest laminated front and rear flipback sleeve. The vinyl has the earliest UK stamped matrix in the runout and XPARTX 4940 and MB 218070 the glossy black reels label.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational lightly played gloss, there are a couple of wispy light marks but the vinyl still gleams. The glossy black and silver Riverside label is bold and bright with sharp text and is completely clean. There is just the very slightest spindle wear. On playing there is Excellent clarity with only just a few moments of very slight noise. The sound is rich and vibrant throughout.
The 1st press laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The image is sharp and the text is clear. The colour is warm and bright and the laminate has a stunning mirrored shine. There is a little corner wear. The rear of the sleeve is extremely bright and clean and completely sealed on all edges. The whole sleeve is firm and the spine is firm with sharp text.
