Bill Fontana (April 25, 1947, Cleveland, Ohio) is an American sound artist who developed an international reputation for his pioneering experiments in sound sculpture and field recordings
Fontana produced radio sound art projects for BBC, European Broadcast Union, Australian Broadcasting Corporation,National Public Radio, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Sveriges Radio, Radio France and ORF.
Since the early 1970s Fontana has used sound as a sculptural medium to interact with and transform our perceptions of visual and architectural spaces. He has realized sound sculptures for Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Cologne Museum Ludwig, Frankfurt Post Museum, Vienna Art History and Natural History Museums, Tate Modern and Tate Britain, Venice Biennale, Melbourne National Gallery of Victoria, among others.

VERY GOOD: RECORD: Obviously been played with noticeable surface marks & the occasional light scratches but exhibits no major loss of sound quality.
