Description
Up for NO RESERVE AUCTION is this fantastic Estate Sale find of Bill Haley and his Comets LP "Rock Around the Clock". This album is the original U.S. Decca Label release from 1955 and is Catalog No. DL8225. The Cover Sleeve is Graded VG showing normal wear with a 2" split right above the Decca Records Logo. The vinyl is thick and Decca called its records unbreakable from this era (Read the small print along the bottom on the rear side of the sleeve). The record is Graded as Excellent (I want to call it near mint, M-). There is no blemishes on the vinyl's label due to people not being able to find the hole, and there are no scratches. The inner sleeve is plastic, in excellent condition, and I believe it to be original, as I haven't been able to find any information on the internet. All the albums at this estate sale well cataloged and kept high on a shelf. I will be placing more on ebay in the near future...stay tuned.
