Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare, four song EP with it's original, sexy "Petty Girl" (Esquire Magazine) cover from the early years of RnR, by Bill Haley and The Comets, is on the original, black with silver print, Decca Label (ED-2398), from 1956 (see the pics above). The EP (Extended Play) is entitled "He igs Rock 'n Roll" and all four songs are visible in the pictures above - plus all of this is in super good condition. I have listed other Bill Haley EPs in addition to this one in this week's auctions, so please check them out as well. LABEL INFO: This label is very nice with absolutely no issues in need of a mention at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with again, nothing serious to mention, although there are just a couple super light, and completely uneventful surface/paper lines. Otherwise, in my opinion, the vinyl is almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. PICTURE SLEEVE INFO: The jacket is easily the best part of this whole package as it has absolutely no flaws - it truly is close to like new". But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: Again, this 45 is very clean and nice, not to mention how impossible it is to find anymore, so please have at it. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (1st Class Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first 45 purchased, and then just $.50 per 45 after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$11.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
