Description

For sale is a first edition vinyl pressing of Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday (Columbia, CL 1157).


This 1958 release of Billie Holiday With Ray Ellis And His Orchestra is a first edition 6-Eye!!


 


Disc is VG+ with play that is mostly closer to EX, but the vinyl shows noticeable surface wear with scuffs and scrapes. These late 50s, early 60s pressings play well despite physical wear and tear, so it is with this pressing! Even with light to moderate surface wear hardly any surface noise is audible, save for light pops here and there and very faint hiss on and off.

Jacket is VG- with minor edge splits here and there, corner dings, light discoloration, and writing on front and back which is barely noticeable.
