Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a RARE 7 inch VINYL E.P. from the 1960's by Billy Fury called "Billy Fury". This was his fourth EP and it has a total of 4 tracks:-
Halfway To Paradise
Would You Stand By Me
Jealousy
Cross My Heart
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1961 on the Decca label (DFE 6694).
The vinyl is in a VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are some light surface marks noticeable, but nothing serious. I have played both sides and they play fine and sound great, but with just the odd crackle noticeable in places on side one.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects.
The matrix numbers are EFF-2421-1C (side one) and EFF-2422-1C (side two).
The vinyl is flat and has no edge warps of any description.
The record is housed within a front-laminated picture cover in an EXCELLENT condition. There is some slight creasing of the laminate close to the opening edge, but the edges are still very strong. The back cover has a name written on it otherwise it is in a clean condition.
Overall, it is a very presentable example of this rare 1960's EP, which should be of interest to avid collectors.
