Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas - 'Bad To Me / I Call Your Name'. R 5049

Billy J. Kramer with The Dakotas 1963 UK DEMO pressing of the 'Bad To Me / I Call Your Name' 7" single. Released on the 26th July 1963, both tracks here are early songs written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It is offered here in solid VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE' and feature a RADIO COLCHESTER stamp indicating they were the original recipient back in 1963. The vinyl is housed within the original Parlophone Records sleeve which is in wonderful EXCELLENT condition.

It is rumored Paul McCartney plays on the a-side of this disc as it is documented he was present during the recording sessions. A rare and sought after demo version of these two Beatles tracks also produced by George Martin. I also have a number of other ex ATV / radio demo's listed, take a look.

Side 2. 7XCE-17394-1N 1 GR KT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Both labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition. RADIO COLCHESTER stamp and small round sticker residue.

The original sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
