"BILLY J. KRAMER" **From A Window b/w I'll Be On My Way** 1964 Single 45 rpm Original Picture Sleeve On  Imperial 66051 *EXCELLENT Condition* And A One Owner!

ORIGINAL SLEEVE VG+:  Original 1964 Imperial label paper Picture Sleeve is in pretty nice condition for its age.  No side or bottom edge splits.  Mouth edge is a little rough in spots, but no rips or tears.  No glue separation on the edges.  No graffiti.  Minor bent corners all around, but no serious creases. Edges also have some rough spots.  Light to moderate ring/shelf wear on both sides (see photos). Sleeve is not perfect, but is much nicer than acceptable for being over 50 years old.

LABELS Excellent To Mint Minus:  Labels are in great shape overall, almost perfect.  Virtually zero ring/shelf wear noticeable on either label.  No scratches, graffiti or other common user damage.  Colors are still bright and vivid, but the printing is a little faint in some spots, mainly some of the fine print.  Very light to near zero wear around the spindle hole.  Extremely nice all around.

VINYL RECORD NM:  Both sides of the record are virtually scratch free.  No scuffs or other user damage.  Little to no obvious wear, and the visual appearance is exceptional for a record of this age.  Vinyl plays back nicely with no skips, hangs or excessive surface noise.  Not totally noise free, but super nice.

BOTH SIDES OF THIS 45 WERE GRADED AUDIBLY, AND "LOUD" IN STEREO MODE SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE COULD BE DOCUMENTED FOR THIS DESCRIPTION.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!

SIDE "A" From A Window:  Light noise at intro.  Nice overall sound.  A lot of very light surface noise early in the track.  Scattered surface noise afterwards.  Very light to near zero noise in the trail off area.  I gave side "A" a "B+" audibly.  The early noise in the track is a bit puzzling and I had to replay the side to validate what I'd heard because the visual appearance of the vinyl is beautiful.  The early noise is evident, but not really distracting.  Side sounds nice overall.

SIDE "B" I'll Be On My Way:  Very light to near zero noise at intro.  Exceptional sound and separation with deep thumping bass.  Some scattered very light pops and surface noise during the tracks' play, but nothing distracting.   Near zero noise in the trail off area.  Nothing during playback to warrant any sort of downgrade, and the side is a little "cleaner" sounding than the "A" side for some reason.  I gave side "B" an "A-" grade audibly.   Not noisy at all, and sounds great.

SUMMARY:  The picture sleeve is in great (not perfect) shape for its age, and the vinyl has only modest noise issues on either side. The record is certainly qualified for re-recording to another audio medium in my opinion.  The record has almost no visible wear and is still very shiny.  Its visual appearance is beautiful.  For the most part, the record package was well cared for overall.
