Billy Joel - The Nylon Curtain 1982 (Photo #6) US First/Original Pressing Sealed Vinyl/LP containing 9 total tracks featuring 3 Billboard Hot 100 Chart Hit Singles: ‘Goodbye Saigon’ (#56), ‘Pressure’ (#20) and ‘Allentown’ (#17 for 6 consecutive weeks and #43 for Billboard Hot 100 Year-end Chart of 1983). For full track listing and sequence (Photo #4). With black hype sticker over the right upper section of the sealed front album cover stating ‘NINE NEW SONGS FEATURING “PRESSURE/“ALLENTOWN”/A ROOM OF OUR OWN” AND “SHE’S RIGHT ON TIME”/ALSO ON CASSETTE’ (Photo #3). With printed barcode (Photo #5). The album reached #7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart with two million sales in the U.S. It was one of the first albums to be digitally recorded, mixed, and mastered. Special thanks to Gus Skinnas of SONY Digital Audio, Fred Layne of Studer / Revox, America and Alan Silverman. Rated 4/5 stars by Rolling Stone Magazine. Sterling stamped or etched on all US pressings (Pitman, Carrollton, Terre Haute) in the Matrix / Runout, Deadwax area. Unable to verify the exact pressing as the vinyl is sealed. Album cover graded excellent due to back left top section crease (Photo #12), back left lower area crease (Photo #2), tiny shrink wrap tear/opening in the back left bottom corner with very minimal wear (Photo #2), partial shrink wrap opening/tear in the back right upper area with minimal wear/crease (Photo #9), front right bottom corner crease/ding (Photo #10), rounded front left bottom (Photo #1) back right bottom (Photo #2) corners and some front (Photo #11)/back (Photo #12) ring impressions/wear.
