20 45's from Rockabilly great Billy Lee Riley: 1957's "Flying Saucers Rock & Roll"/"I Want You Baby" (Sun 260), 2 different pressings of 1959's "Down By The Riverside"/"No Name Girl" (Sun 313), a white label promo copy of 1964's "Bo Diddley"/"Memphis" (Mercury 72314), 1966's "The Way I Feel"/"St. James Infirmary" (GNP Crescendo 377), 1967's "Midnite Hour"/"Southern Soul" (Mojo 3610) in both stock and white label promo form, "Valley Of Dolls"/"Lonely Man" (Mojo 3611), "Don't Fight It"/"Mississippi Delta" (Mojo 8001), a white label promo copy of 1968's "Family Portrait"/"Going Back To Memphis" (Hip 8006), a WLP copy of 1968's "Sittin' And A Waitin'"/"Happy Man" (Atlantic 2525), a WLP copy of his 1969 return to Sun "Kay" (SI 1100), 2 copies of 1972's "I Got A Thing About You Baby"/"You Don't Love Me" (Entrance 7508), and "Blue Monday"/"Good Old Rock and Roll" (Southern Rooster 706-639). Also, we have 3 different pressings of "Shimmy, Shimmy Walk, Part 1"/"Part 2" that Billy did as a member of the Megatons: the original 1961 pressing on Dodge along with 2 different pressings on Checker (1005) from the following year. Finally, we have 2 Darron Lee 45's: "I've Been Searching"/"Everybody's Twisting" (MYRL 410) from 1961 and a white label promo copy of 1969's "Who's Making Love"/"Long Black Train" (Hip 8008).
"Flying Saucers Rock & Roll" - the song that put Billy on the map - is in fair condition with labels that are in good condition with a previous owner's name written on both sides.
The first pressing of "Down By The Riverside" that we are offering is very good plus, as are its labels. The other pressing is excellent with labels that are very good plus.
The white label promo copy of "Bo Diddley" is in good condition with labels that are very good plus with writing (ratings?) on both sides. "The Way I Feel" is very good plus as are its labels, due to a cut-out hole and a mark on the a-side.
The stock copy of "Midnite Hour" is in good condition - record and labels both. The WLP copy is fair with labels that are very good. "Valley Of Dolls" is very good with labels that are very good plus, due to small peel-ups on both sides. "Don't Fight It" is in fair condition with good condition labels.
The WLP copy of "Family Portrait" is very good as are its labels, due to wear and writing on the b-side. The Atlantic promo is in excellent condition - record and labels both. The Sun promo for "Kay" is very good with excellent condition labels.
The first copy of the Entrance single is excellent with labels that are very good plus, due to a peel-up on the b-side. The second copy is excellent - record and labels both. The Southern Rooster 45 (produced by "The Phillips Boys" and with a 706 prefix - hmmm. . .) is very good plus, as are its labels.
The Dodge copy of the Megatons 45 is in good condition as are its labels, due to a small tear on the a-side. The first Checker 45 is good with very good plus condition labels. The second Checker disc is in excellent condition - record and labels both.
The Darron Lee MYRL 45 is in fair condition with labels that are in good condition, due to writing and tearing on both sides. The Hip WLP is in good condition with a chip at the edge that will not affect play. Its labels are very good, due to a fair amount of wear on both sides.
