Up for auction here are two single-sided UK Apple white label test pressing discs of this classic album, which was produced by George Harrison and commercially released on Apple in August 1969.
Each disc contains one complete side of the finished LP, with the other side playing a continuous reference tone.
As well as Preston’s superb singing and keyboards, the personnel includes George Harrison (guitar, Moog, sitar), Eric Clapton (guitar), Keith Richards (bass) and Ginger Baker (drums).
Side one is NM, side two is VG with a few marks that play through.
They come with their original polylined inner sleeve, which is dated July 18th 1969.
Needless to say, you will probably never have another chance to acquire this.
