1977 (?) LP from Billy R. Couvson, "Bongo Sensational Soul" (Bongo Records, undated).
Late 70's San Francisco-area private LP in phenomenal shape.
No splits or writing, but the edges are worn. Safely a VG+.
Glossy disc has lite noise on intro to side 2, otherwise a VG++ beauty.

"Subtitled "Ching Chong China" this is a rare, unique trip into the depths of the San Francisco/Oakland funk-club-eccentric-PCP-anything scene of the mid-1970s. Billy Couvson raps, mutters and grooves while bongos, vibes, percussion and anything else within reach provide beats and rhythm. He chuckles to himself inexplicably, leaving us to try and sort it all out 30 years later. Those familar with the Charlie Tweddle album from a similar time and place will find Tweddle's African-American counterpart here. The real thing -- you will be amazed. Billy Couvson released this album on his own Bongo label and pressed very few copies of it. This LP is much better than his 45s or later recordings..."
