1972 Radio Canada International  TRANSCRIPTION RCI-375, original issue/pressing Canada Stereo

Killer jazz funk from Texan sax man Billy Robinson, who settled in Montreal in the 70's (teaching music at Montreal's Sir George William University).     Based in Montreal, he recorded this rare (Canada-only, limited pressing) long play on Radio Canada's superb Transcription vinyl series.

* Jazz and Funk collectors look for top vinyl copies.    The occasional  VG or EX copy of this album does rarely show up on eBay, but never in pristine condition like this one .......Don't Miss it ! *

Great sax-fronted jazz throughout the LP, but this much-in-demand gem really stands out for a couple of amazing tracks......a monster dance-floor shaker and a down-tempo break-beat collector's dream, both featured on the awesome DO RIGHT compilations.

Never reissued on CD, this long out-of-print LP is also featured in Patrick Lundborg's Acid Archives reference bible.

Billy Robinson (sax) with some amazing Canadian jazz talent supporting him on this recording.........Pierre Leduc (keyboards),  Jim Norman (drums, percussion),  Peter Leitch (guitar) and Erroll Walters (bass).
