Rarely found copy of this rare 1966 Soul grinder. This is the original HBR 45!
LABELS:
We rely on extreme close-up photos to describe the label condition. The photos are the actual item being sold and always feature both sides. Any other issues will be pointed out here. Both labels show wear and some age-staining as the photos confirm. There is the record company X on one side, used to promote the appropriate side to radio station DJ's even though this one is not coded as promotional. No holes, stickers or other writing can be seen. Photos confirm.
DISC:
We always record the entire track of the actual record being sold. There are no filters or equalization applied. The record is recorded "flat". Buyers should assume that most older records will have some surface, background noise along with a pop or two and sometimes more. That is why the time is taken to record the full record so you can be the judge as to the audio quality. Listen and judge.
The audio is available for both sides. No deep noises are detected, just a few scattered pops most notable on the softer side. Visible scuffing and scratching on both sides of the vinyl. Also there is a photo showing a small "flake" in the outer edge of one side. It is not very close to the groove area and doesn't have any bearing on audio and does not appear to be the start of anything else. Just wanted it noted here. Both sides feature fairly dense production which helps cover the noise. As you listen,the audio will confirm actual aural condition. Hear it and you decide the grade.
