TWO Rare & HTF Australian records
This auction is for TWO Rare & HTF Australian records by rock music legend, Billy Thorpe. Both are in very good condition. The records are:
The Billy Thorpe Rock Classics (MLX064) – from 1974, this compilation features some of Thorpe’s most iconic tracks, including a live performance form Sunbury. The cover has slight chipping at the top corner and slight ring wear at back. The vinyl looks very good. This was released on the M7 label under licence from Havoc.

Side TWO: Ooh-Poo-Pa-Doo (live form Sunbury)
Billy Thorpe & the Aztecs – The Hoax is Over (SNL934092): this is the rarer of the two records. This was the start of a total new direction the group & the sessions are legendary for being drug fueled. As well as Thorpe, the line up at this time included Warren Morgan, Lobby Loyde, Paul Wheeler and Kevin Murphy. It is in good condition. The cover has some ring wear. The vinyl has a lot of scuffing and light scratching and would benefit from some TLC.
