BIM & BAM - FATTY / LANDLORD - GAYFEET 201. MINT MINUS CONDITION PROBABLY ONLY EVER PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE. Now we really are talking obscure! Bim & Bam appear to have been Jamaica's equivalent of Morecambe & Wise, a duo who were incredibly popular in the 50's and 60's. I've seen the odd vinyl outing, mainly spoken word comedy, but this one, which is also spoken word, is notable for what is as far as I know, the only other utilisation of "The Whip" rhythm. The only difference between this rhythm and the one used by The Ethiopians is that there's no clanking milk bottle percussion on this one. As for the vocal content, well it's in such heavy patois that I can't understand a bloomin' word of it to be honest LOL.
